This summer has been an eventful one but I am so ready for the weather to cool down! 

The summer has been full of travel, we went to the bahamas, cali 2x, cabin trips and Kyle started the hunting season.

We found out I am pregnant on Fathers Day and am due Feb 24. So far I have been sick, but as long as I eat I am doing alright. (another reason why I want the weather to cool down, I don't think the heat is helping with my all day sickness!) 

We are way excited about having a baby though.

Just wanted to catch up just a little. Sorry for the lack of posts. maybe once baby gets here I will get better? ha..

Also it was my sweet husbands 24th birthday. Spent they day turkey hunting, pf changs, krispy kremes, and relaxing. I think he enjoyed it. I love him!

I am a bad blogger I know. I will try to be better, promise! (I've said this before I know..) but seriously I will.

Let me just tell you how awful at blogging i am, for the 5 readers i have, i am sorry! The holidays were crazy, but i enjoyed them. I will catch you all up on those later! Promise.. Today and for the next couple of days we are packing up my house i grew up in. it is getting torn down on the 15th! its going to be a sad day. but can you imagine 24 years of Stuff in this old house we are going through. i found my mom's Barbies from when she was a little girl. the Barbie had ReAL EYELASHES!!! they dont make them like that anymore. they used to be so cute. anyway i will repost soon i just wanted to tell everyone hi and wish them a happy new year..

is so extremely busy lately with school and work (and hunting) he doesn't get home late some nights. i decided to do a little project while i was at home, i have this red, Ugly, old ( .. sorry dad i know you painted it to match jasons room at one time..) night stand and i couldnt handle the color anymore. it didnt match my room at all which is mostly neutrals, i know. i was on this website called better after and saw that this lady from vintage revivals and saw that she had foiled her nightstand.. it looked amazing on her website and so thats where the idea came from. i got started and i was skeptic at first but it turned out great. i love it so much! the pics dont really do it justice but its the best i can do since we have 2 cameras with no chargers. ha

to celebrate the labor day weekend we went camping with my parents and the mcbrides.. we had a blast, kyle went hunting while we went on a ranger ride ( but mostly stayed in the trailer and played cards) it was a lazy weekend but a relaxing one at that. we went to a cave, we drove around looking for elk and deer (i was bummed we didn't see much of anything though) and we ate tons of food, and delicious cheery dump and peach cobbler that we made in the dutch ovens. soo.. the most nerve racking/scariest thing happened.. we went on a ranger ride and we stopped to look over this canyon and i stepped up to the edge and over this log on the ground, naturally i looked down and noticed something curled up. it was a snake!! a rattle snake was just sitting there.. i tried not to scream and just stepped away quickly, i don't know how i didn't get bit, i was wearing flip flops and i was literally 2 inches away from it! my dad got a stick and stuck him long enough to cut of his head and fangs. my heart was pounding so hard! it wasn't very big but to think that i was that close to a rattle snake and the noise it makes, scared me!

last friday was our first anniversary. can you believe that it has already been a full year since we were married?! i can't. it went by so fast, this year was the best year of my life.. kyle makes me so happy and i am eternally grateful for having such a sweet husband. i love him more and more each day.

to celebrate we went to a resort in north Scottsdale called the Montelucia. anyone heard of it? its beautiful! its a nice resort at the base of camelback mountain. we ate at city hall ( a little too pricey for us, we should have tried the "culinary dropout" when we drove by that place it was full of people and looked like a fun place to eat) next time.. we swam in a private pool, went shopping and enjoyed each others company. it was nice and romantic.
To my hubby: i honestly can't wait to have many more anniversaries with you. i love you

I am not sure who all has seen this yet, but this video has touched me so much. Ask Kyle, I look at Stephanie Nielson's blog almost everyday! She is so inspiring and such an amazing writer I always love to hear what she has to say..This video captures her and her sweet spirit I think. It makes me appreciate how fortunate I am in my life and how fortunate we are to have the truth of the gospel.

For those of you who didn't know my Hubby turned 23 last month and the slacker that I am didn't post anything about it.. I know it's sad! BUT I plan on making it up to him. I just wanted to tell everyone how in love with this man I am! He's the sweetest, kindest person and I just laugh every second I am with him. I love you honey, Happy Birthday!

For the last couple of weeks I have been pretty busy (should explains the lack of blogs.. eh). I have been working with the talented Becki Crosby, who owns Whippy Cake. Her stuff is amazing to say the least, she makes all sorts of accessories, she makes it hard for me not to spend all my money! HA! (ahh just kidding kyle). But it has been so SO fun lately and it only makes me more excited for what the future holds.

Not much else has been going on..Other than its starting to look more like spring!! I absolutely love this time of year, it is defiantly refreshing don't you think? Plus I love the easter pageant, easter, Kyle's birthday, and conference of course.

Oh what fun!

Our first Christmas was a success! We were quite busy running around from familys house to familys house, but we enjoyed every minute of it. We are so grateful to have both sides of the family all here in Az. We started out the day at our little townhouse, opening our gifts we got eachother and Kyle definantly spoiled me and got me a bosch and a cute vase from Anthropologie. Im Obsessed. Oh and my mom came over to help me make my first batch of rolls and they turned out great! I was proud of myself.. For our main gifts I got Kyle and I beach cruises!! Can't wait to take them the Newport in the summer and short rides over to Melissas and Augs house! They are fun so far.. We went to my parents that morning and opened gifts and then traveled over the Curtis, to open gifts and then ate at the Curtis's for a very good lunch. Then right after a delicious meal we traveled back over to the Evans side to enjoy dinner and open cousins gifts! So yes a very busy, tiring day but we loved it.

Welcome 2010

To ring in the new year we decided to go up to our cabin in Alpine Az. We had so much fun relaxing, sledding, snowboarding, ridin on the snowmobiles, watching the boys risk their lives on this huge jump they made.. and eating! All the cousins and some friends came along too! We played games pretty much the whole time, spinners is my favorite.. haha. There was Tons of Snow. and I loved it! We saw close to 200 elk in the meadow off the side of the road.. Kyle and I got out his spotlight and watched them graze close to 30 mins.. it was amazing! and freezing with the windows down.

San Fransisco

Kyle and I had recently traveled to San Fransisco Cali. earlier this month. We went with Amber and Mike to visit Chad and Jess. We had an amazing time I loved the city so much. What I loved the most was the old Victorian homes that were all compacted on these steep hills that covered the city. Nothing like AZ. We saw just about all the sites you can see there, the golden gate bridge, bay bridge, Lombard street(the curviest road ever-I don't know how to spell it) and Pier 39 and all the amazing food there. I think I gained 20 pounds there.. I loved Loved loved the clam chowder in the sour dough bread bowls! mm so good! We got to see and tour where Chad is going to Dental school, and where my father in law Brent went to school. We also saw where my parents lived while he was in school! So beautiful! Thank you so much Chad and Jess for letting us stay with you guys!

I haven't posted in so long so I thought that I would just post a couple of things we have been up to this fall. Holloween was fun we had a huge block party in the Curtis's neighborhood. Also we celebrated my 21st birthday yesterday at PF Changs and it was so good! I loved having the family there with me.

I absolutely love the fall its my favorite time of year, I can't wait for Thanksgiving next week, not only cause of food but to visit with all our family! I have so much to be thankful for.. and we are excited to get the chance to travel to San Fransico to stay with Kyle's brother Chad and his wife Jessica and their cute kids Belle and J. Its going to be so much fun. I hope Everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. Ill try to post more often :)

Hi everyone! This is my first post, I am pretty excited to start blogging, considering it's been officially one month since my wedding!! Today! Kyle and I got married on the 27th of Aug, and it's been so fun getting to know each other and getting our lives back on track. I love being married, it's such a blast! Right now I am just doing hair at Habit Salon and Kyle is working at a dental lab and he is loving it. So if anyone needs their hair done, call me! Color and cuts- I work magic. ;)

The wedding went really well. The sealing was one of the best experiences of my life. The Temple is a wonderful, peaceful place. I loved it. Kyle and I have to agree that it was one of the best days that we have shared together! The reception was so fun, and everyone seemed to like it so I was pretty pleased with it! I absolutely loved my pictures!! They turned out so good, so I promise I will post a lot of them I just need to get them all organized. haha it might take a while, I need to figure out this blog thing though.. well after that was the honeymoon night.. :) it was fun, we booked a cruise to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and we were about half way to Cabo and it turns out there was a hurricane going on down there so we turned around and went to Ensenada Mexico and Catalina Island Cali. The cruise was so fun!! Kyle, unfortunately, got the flu and wasn't feeling good the first couple of days, but I took care of him. :) haha We parasailed in Catalina and hung out on the beach alot. This ship was HUGE!! And the food was so good, I didn't know we could eat that much! The cruise was a good experience and I would definantly do it again!
